Steve Brown – In retirement

Having joined M&J Drilling barely a month after its creation in 1982, Steve has for almost 39 years been an integral part of the team at M&J Drilling. Employed initially as a Plant Fitter, and basically a fixer of anything and everything, he quickly became the company’s Plant Manager and then from 2003 Plant Director. Much of what M&J Drilling has been able to undertake and achieve since 1982 has been down to the involvement of Steve and we owe him much for his endeavours throughout those years. Since 2018 Steve has been gradually working towards retirement, easing out of the day to day activities of the company and attending on a part-time basis. With a move towards more fully retiring since October 2020 we wish him and his wife Karen and all their family the very best for a long and enjoyable retirement.
