For more than 35 years, Isabel has been an integral part of the team at M&J Drilling. Having joined the company in 1987, initially employed as our Secretary, Receptionist and Accounts Clerk, Isabel was responsible for sorting out many of the office systems, and organisation of all manner of paperwork and reports that we have long taken for granted. Most latterly working as our Office Manager for a number of years, we would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work and endeavours to keep us organised. We wish her, and her husband Paul and their family, the very best for a well-earned, long and enjoyable retirement.  

Pat Murray – Contracts Director

After over 21 years as a key member of the Management Team, latterly as Contracts Director, Pat Murray has now retired from the business. Pat joined M&J Drilling in January 2001 initially as a Project Engineer, but rapidly took on more responsibility as our Safety Manager in 2005, then Contracts Manager in 2008 and Contracts Director by 2013. In September 2021 Pat gradually started to ease himself out of his senior role, handing the reins over to his colleague Scott Johnson while still working part time through until March 2022. We would like to take this opportunity to wish him, and his wife Jayne and their family, all the very best for a long and enjoyable retirement.
